My name is Alexandra Dorian. On behalf of my family and staff, I would like to welcome you to my restaurant. We invite you to re-discover San Jose’s finest, premier dining destination. We are highly rated for our contemporary menu of French, Swiss and Italian Old World Classics. Our restaurant features daily specials and a daily Prix Fixe Menu. Our chef, Josh Hanoka and Sous Chef Anthony Jimenez’s award winning menu reflects our meticulous attention to detail and the use of the freshest seasonal ingredients and products of the finest quality. Our main dinning room is comfortable and elegant. Fresh flowers adorn each table and the contemporary hand-sculpted brass work overhead enhances the exquisite atmosphere.


Our building located here on south Second Street has enjoyed a long and interesting history. The very first restaurant located here was ‘Archie’s Steakhouse”. As stories would have it, “Archie’s” was the local hang-out for the students at San Jose State University. After Archie closed his doors, a Greek Restaurant named Elias was located here.

Emile, known for his longstanding classic artistry, solid work ethic, sincere love of people and utterly infectious passion for the culinary arts won him countless awards and international recognition. In addition to creating fine food, Emile raised approximately $3 million for non profit groups and charities…
